In Texas, members of the Academy are known as preeminent litigators, strong advocates for their clients and their profession, and compassionate representatives for clients who are facing some of the most traumatic events in their lives. In addition to excellent trial work, however, many members of the Texas Chapter diligently pursue new methods of alternative dispute resolution, including collaborative law. A natural offshoot of the Academy’s Bounds of Advocacy, collaborative law exemplifies its ideals of fair play and ethical conduct for lawyers and clients.
